Key Capabilities
Code with live disaster data inside Cursor
Stop relying on outdated training data when building emergency mapping applications. This MCP Server lets your Cursor agent run `get_disasters` to pull live coordinates, types, and start dates directly into your active workspace. You can then use `get_countries` to automatically populate your test suites with real ISO codes and current disaster counts. The editor handles the tool calls inline, letting you generate components based on actual API payloads. You write the frontend code while your agent verifies the JSON structure against live endpoints.
Parse complex humanitarian reports in your editor
Building NLP pipelines for aid documents requires massive amounts of test data. Use `get_reports` in Cursor to pull down the latest text files, filtering by specific parameters like country or language. You can then call `get_report` to feed raw metadata and themes directly into your script files for instant debugging. To make sure your parser handles different document types, run `get_formats` to retrieve the exact IDs for situation reports, maps, or press releases. Your agent writes the parsing logic while looking at the exact data structures returned by the live server.
Query NGO directories directly from the terminal
Integrating humanitarian job boards or organization directories shouldn't require manual API testing. Using this MCP integration to track NGO details, your Cursor chat can run `get_jobs` to inspect active hiring data, alongside `get_organizations` and `get_sources` to map out the NGO network. You can ask the editor to generate database schemas that match the live ReliefWeb structure. The agent writes clean migrations based on the exact fields returned by these tools, cutting out the typical trial-and-error cycle.
