Build Live Data Dashboards
This MCP Server connects Cline directly to your company's ClickTime data. You can tell it to 'build a dashboard of active projects,' and it will get to work. Cline uses the `list_clicktime_projects` and `list_time_entries` tools to get the live data, then writes the actual front-end code for a React or Vue component right in your editor. It's the fastest way to go from data to a working UI.
Turn ClickTime Data into Code with Cline
Cline doesn't just show you data; it builds things with it. Ask it to 'generate a weekly timesheet audit for the engineering team,' and watch what happens. It will use tools like `list_clicktime_users` and `get_high_volume_time_report` to fetch the records, and then it will write a Python script or a shell command to format that data into a CSV file. You get a working script, not just a JSON dump.
Scaffold API Endpoints Instantly
When you're building a new internal service, you can use Cline to bootstrap your API. Just say, 'create a Node.js endpoint that returns all available work tasks.' Cline will call the `list_clicktime_tasks` tool to see the data structure, then write the boilerplate code for an Express.js route that serves that data. It's a huge head start, and it uses your real data from the get-go.
