…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect ClickTime MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect ClickTime to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate Project and Client Audits
This tool gives Windsurf read-only access to your ClickTime account. You can ask it to generate a complete audit for a specific client, and its Cascade agent gets to work. Cascade will chain together the necessary commands automatically. It can run `list_clicktime_clients` to find the right ID, then `list_clicktime_projects` to see what they're paying for, and finish with `list_time_entries` to pull all the hours. You get a full report without prompting each step.
Get a Full Picture of Your Team
Find out who's working on what without digging through the ClickTime web app. Just ask Windsurf to give you a summary of a team member's current workload. It can combine data from `list_clicktime_users` and `list_clicktime_jobs` to map people to their assigned projects. This is great for resource planning or just getting a quick status update before a meeting. Cascade handles the lookups for you.
Your ClickTime MCP Server in Windsurf
Connecting this MCP Server to Windsurf pipes your time tracking data directly into the IDE. You don't need to manage API keys or write any integration code. It just works. Once connected, you can pull massive reports using `get_high_volume_time_report`, which grabs up to 2500 time entries at once. Cascade can then use that data to perform analysis or answer complex questions about your team's logged hours.
