Search and read team inboxes

The Front MCP server connects your AI client directly to your team's communication history. You ask Claude to find a specific thread, and it runs `search_conversations_by_query` to pull the exact match from your shared inboxes. Once it locates the thread, Claude uses `get_conversation_details` and `list_conversation_messages` to read the full context. You get the raw message data, including timestamps and sender details, right in your chat window.

Reply to customers from Claude Desktop

Your agent handles active communication through the `reply_to_conversation` tool. Instead of drafting a response in Claude and pasting it into another app, you tell the model to send the message directly. You control the workflow. Claude checks the available outlets via `list_active_channels`, drafts the response based on the conversation history it pulled via `get_message_content`, and fires off the reply.

Manage inbox status automatically

You manage the state of your shared queues using the `update_conversation_status` tool. Claude can archive, snooze, or reopen threads based on the content of the messages it reads. If you need to audit your team's workload, the agent runs `list_shared_inboxes` and `list_conversations` to map out open tickets. Set up Front MCP in Claude Web or Desktop

    Open Claude Settings

    Go to claude.ai, click your profile icon, then navigate to Customize → Connectors.

    Add Custom Connector

    Click the "+" button and select Add custom connector. Paste your Vinkius endpoint URL: https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. For OAuth-protected servers, expand Advanced settings to add credentials.
