Connect Google Home MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Google Home to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct thermostat state control
Cline uses `set_thermostat_range` to define exact comfort zones for your smart building projects. It writes the logic to switch modes via `set_thermostat_mode` based on your specific triggers. You can ask the agent to build a dashboard that updates your climate settings. It will call `list_devices` to find the correct ID and apply your changes instantly.
Hardware hierarchy exploration
The agent uses `list_structures` and `list_rooms` to understand where your hardware lives. This allows it to write code that targets specific rooms rather than your entire property. It fetches detailed attributes using `get_device` to ensure your scripts handle the correct device traits. This prevents errors when you deploy automation to different hardware models.
Media and fan automation
Cline can manage air circulation by calling `set_fan_timer` during your build processes or testing cycles. It ensures the fan duration matches your defined requirements. For security monitoring, it uses `generate_camera_stream` to fetch live data for your tests. It always cleans up afterwards with `stop_camera_stream` to keep your session valid.
