Running Turso Commands via MCP Server

The `get_database_details` tool lets you introspect the exact architectural traits of any target libSQL instance. This is useful for validating configurations before writing code. You can also run `list_organizations` to identify all root organizational tenants within Turso Edge SQLite.

Managing Database Lifecycles in Cline

`delete_database` permanently removes a global libSQL database. Remember, this action is irreversible and you'll need confirmation before staging any commit. You can also use `create_database_token` to mint a secure connection Token that ties strictly to one specific DB instance.

Listing Database Assets for Cline

To see everything, run `list_databases`. This enumerates the complete libSQL Edge Database registry. You can also use `list_tokens` to check active JWT Tokens. It's great for ensuring your automated code base has access to all required assets.

Common questions about Turso MCP in Cline

Cline treats the Turso MCP Server like any other data source. You tell it a goal—like 'check database status'—and it executes the necessary steps using tools like `get_database_details` to complete the task.
Absolutely. The `list_databases` tool helps you view every registered database, and the subsequent tools allow you to manage them individually or in groups.
This server deals primarily with database metadata. The core data type accessed here includes libSQL databases, organizational slugs, and execution JWT Tokens.
Yep. Use `list_edge_locations` to look up physical global Fly.io datacenter mappings (Locations). This helps your code account for geographical distribution.
It does. You can use `rotate_database_tokens` to revoke old tokens and then immediately create new ones, keeping your access secure within your code base.
