Connect Turso MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Turso to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Discovering Edge Locations with Cursor
When starting a new feature, use `list_edge_locations` to look up physical global Fly.io datacenter mappings (Locations). Knowing the location is key before writing connection code. Another useful call is `get_database_details`. This tool introspects specific architectural traits of one target libSQL instance, giving you parameters needed for your code.
Setting up Live Database Context in Cursor
To get live data into your code, use `create_database_token` to mint a secure connection Token tied strictly to the specific DB. This token is what your agent mode needs. Retrieving context is simple: call `list_databases` to enumerate all available libSQL Edge Databases so you can hardcode or pass the right reference into your script.
Managing Database Lifecycle in Cursor
`create_database` allows the AI agent to provision a new massively distributed Serverless SQLite database, letting you write code against a predictable environment. You can also use `list_organizations` to identify your root tenants. Finally, if you need to clean up dependencies, calling `delete_database` permanently removes a global libSQL database.
