…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Whereby MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Whereby to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Create and Configure Video Meeting Spaces
Need a meeting room? You tell the MCP Server to `create_meeting_room`, specifying an ISO 8601 end date and mode. Windsurf's Cascade then uses this new room name to `get_room_theme` or `update_room_theme`, ensuring it matches your branding before execution. It can also list all existing rooms using `list_active_meetings` so you know exactly what spaces are currently open or pending.
Manage Cloud Recordings and Themes
When recordings accumulate, Cascade handles the cleanup. You instruct it to `list_cloud_recordings`, review the results, and then execute `delete_cloud_recording` for permanent removal. This action is irreversible. If you need a visual change, the MCP Server lets Windsurf update the look using `update_room_theme` with a hex color code or revert everything by calling `reset_room_theme`.
Retrieve Meeting and Recording Data
Want to know if a meeting is still active? You can call `get_meeting_details` to pull the join URL and expiration date. The agent also pulls download links and metadata for past sessions via `get_recording_details`. Windsurf uses these retrieval tools, along with `list_cloud_recordings`, to gather all necessary context before presenting a final summary.
