Key Capabilities

MCP Server: Create Support Tickets

When a user needs help, don't manually enter data. Use `create_ticket` to programmatically open a new support case, piping the necessary metadata—like the source chat ID and initial description—directly into the API. This makes your CLI scripts much more reliable than web form submissions.

Fetch Knowledge Base Articles

Before creating a ticket, run `list_knowledge` to grab titles, or use `get_knowledge_detail` if you know the article ID. This allows your automation script to quickly check if an answer already exists. If the info is there, you can generate a helpful response and close the loop without needing human intervention.

Get Organization Summary Data

Need metrics on how busy Sobot is? The `get_org_summary` tool returns an aggregate view of activity for your organization. You can script this call to feed real-time load data into your CI/CD monitoring dashboards. This gives you the high-level performance numbers without querying every single ticket.

Common questions about Sobot MCP in Cline

You run `list_tickets` and pipe the resulting JSON into another script for parsing. This is much faster than any GUI approach.
It touches tickets, knowledge articles, user accounts via `list_users`, and chat history through the `list_chat_history` tool. This covers almost every corner of Sobot's operational data.
Yes, calling `list_agents` gives you a structured list of all available support personnel and their assigned roles within the system. This is perfect for writing agent management scripts.
You can, using `get_ticket_details`. By passing a specific ticket ID, your script pulls every piece of information associated with that single case file, including status history.
The tools return structured JSON, so you can filter or pipe that data using standard scripting language logic (like `jq` or Python). The raw data is always available to your script.
