Key Capabilities
Chain device commands in Windsurf
Cascade uses `send_push_notification` to bridge the gap between your editor and your mobile hardware. You set the goal, and the agent determines how to format the payload for your target device. This MCP server allows Windsurf to manage your hardware list directly. By calling `list_connected_devices`, the agent knows exactly which machines are online before it fires off your data.
Historical context for Windsurf
Your agent can pull previous activity using `list_recent_pushes` to understand what you sent last. This gives Windsurf the context it needs to avoid duplicate tasks or to reference past links. It keeps your workflow moving without manual checks. The agent handles the back-and-forth so you stay focused on your code rather than managing browser tabs or mobile apps.
Manage subscriptions inside Windsurf
Follow specific channel feeds without leaving your IDE using `subscribe_to_channel`. Windsurf monitors these feeds as part of its broader context window. When you need to clean up your workspace, `unsubscribe_from_channel` handles the removal. You control exactly what data enters your editor through these active connections.
