The result is passed to your specialized 'Analysis Agent' for comparison against budget rules. This structure lets you define roles: one agent researches the best rate, another verifies it with `get_carrier_details`, and a third confirms it using `list_carriers`.

The 'Action Agent' handles label creation using `create_shipping_label`. It takes the vetted data from the previous steps, executes the API call, and generates the required output. The resulting record is saved via `list_created_labels`. This simulates a real-world workflow: research (rates) -> analyze (selection) -> act (labeling).

Your 'Validation Agent' starts the process by calling `validate_address` to confirm recipient data. Once confirmed, a separate agent can call `create_shipment_object` to formalize the record. Set up ShipEngine MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.
