Key Capabilities
Calculate optimal rates across carriers
You set a goal, and the MCP Server figures out how to get you an answer. Start by running `get_shipping_rates` with package dimensions and zones. This tool compares live pricing from multiple services against your specified route. Cascade handles the rest: it reads those rates, determines which carrier offers the best balance of speed and cost, and presents a full comparison without requiring you to prompt every step.
Track packages across networks
Need to know where that box is? Simply define the package tracking number and call `track_package`. The agent then calls the appropriate carrier API, consolidating status updates from UPS, FedEx, or USPS into one clear result. If you need historical data, Cascade keeps track of past shipments using `list_shipments`, letting you see a timeline of every box handled by the MCP Server.
Verify and validate addresses instantly
Before labeling anything, always run `validate_address`. This tool checks if the destination address is actually deliverable in its specific region. It returns error codes or confirmed components (street, zip, country) so you know where your package's going. Don't guess on addresses; let Windsurf confirm it first. You can even use `get_carrier_details` to ensure the carrier supports delivery to that validated location before committing to a label.
