Connect UptimeRobot MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect UptimeRobot to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Check Uptime Status in Code Snippets
The `list_monitors` tool lets the AI call UptimeRobot and grab pass/fail status, up ratios, and response times. You can inject this live data directly into a test script you're writing. When building an error-handling function, calling `get_monitor_details` gives you precise metrics for one monitor, making your code contextually accurate.
Automate Alert Setup in Cursor
The agent uses `create_alert_contact` to set up notification targets (Slack or Email) and then executes the API call. This means you don't switch contexts; your code writes the required setup logic. You can also write cleanup functions using `delete_uptime_monitor`, ensuring your local test environment removes old monitoring records automatically.
Update Monitor Logic via MCP Server
Need to change a URL or switch monitor types? Use `update_uptime_monitor` within your coding session. The AI generates the necessary code block that sends the update request. If you need to revert changes, `delete_alert_contact` handles the removal of notification targets, keeping your project clean and focused.
