…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect WHOOP MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect WHOOP to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Live Recovery Score Injection
Need to write a function that checks if a user is ready for intense work? The `get_cycle_recovery` tool pulls real recovery scores, resting heart rate, and HRV. You can inject this live context right into your code. It's perfect for writing conditional logic: 'If WHOOP cycle recovery score < 50, then suggest rest.' This isn't mock data; it’s the API response.
Handling WHOOP Sleep Cycles in Code
Writing a sleep analysis script? Use `get_cycles` to fetch all 24-hour periods within a date range. The resulting JSON structure includes everything: strain, recovery, heart rate, and sleep data. You can then use the cycle IDs to call specialized tools like `get_cycle_sleep`, which isolates just the sleep performance percentage.
GETTING WHOOP Body Measurements
If your code needs current physical metrics, start with `get_body_measurement`. This function provides the necessary data to complement health tracking in your application. Don't forget you can also get profile details by calling `get_profile` first. That verifies authentication and gives you the user ID needed for other endpoints.
