Key Capabilities
Manage notes in code
The `create_note` tool lets you programmatically write a new note, accepting both plaintext title and body. You just provide the content; Standard Notes handles the encryption layer for that data. The `update_note` tool modifies existing entries by UUID. This is perfect for generating component drafts or correcting notes that need programmatic changes.
Fetch specific item details
Need context on one note? Use `get_item_details` to retrieve a single item, whether it's a note, tag, or extension by its UUID. This gives you the exact data needed for an immediate component build. If you just want a list of all available notes without getting bogged down in details, `list_notes` fetches the entire encrypted collection for review.
Execute full data synchronization
Running a sync job is simple with `sync_items`. You pass it the sync token from a previous response, and Cline executes the Standard Notes sync operation. This ensures your local component has the absolute latest state. Don't forget to manage tags too; after fetching data, you can use `tag_note` by passing both the tag UUID and the note UUID.
