Key Capabilities
Live Data Sync for Coding
The `sync_items` tool performs a full Standard Notes sync operation. This means when you're mid-coding, the AI agent pulls the absolute latest version of your notes into the context window. This live data flow is huge; it lets the code generation process reference accurate information without requiring you to switch out of your editor.
Creating and Modifying Notes
Need a new variable or comment block based on existing knowledge? Use `create_note` to generate plaintext content. Similarly, if the requirements change, the `update_note` tool lets you modify an existing note by its UUID directly in your code flow. It's fast and precise. You can also grab context for a specific area using `get_item_details`.
Organizing Contextual Data
The `list_notes` tool lets the AI see all your encrypted notes, giving it scope over the entire project's knowledge base. It helps ground the generated code in real-world documentation. For structured data, you can use `create_tag` and then link them to specific items with `tag_note`. This makes sure the context is highly targeted.
