…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Standard Notes MCP to Google ADK
Create your Vinkius account to connect Standard Notes to Google ADK — we handle the hosting, security, and runtime updates so you don't have to. No server setup required.
Key Capabilities
Controlling the Note Lifecycle
Start new entries using `create_note`, just by giving the plaintext title and text. The sync layer handles all the complex encryption details so you don't have to worry about it. The agent can also modify content via `update_note`. This tool expects a UUID, which keeps the changes locked down to exactly one source.
Retrieving Item Details from the MCP Server
Need context on something specific? The `get_item_details` function retrieves details for any item—note, tag, or extension—by its UUID. It's precise. For a complete inventory, use `list_notes`, which pulls all encrypted notes while keeping the actual content safe.
Syncing and Organizing Tags
To maintain data consistency, run `sync_items` using your sync token. This makes sure everything is up to date across Standard Notes. Organization starts with `create_tag`, allowing you to define new tags, which can then be linked to notes using the `tag_note` tool.
