Track and Manage Customer Issues via MCP Server

Need to know what's going on? The `list_tickets` tool pulls a list of all existing helpdesk tickets. This lets your agent see the current state of support requests across the board. It’s also easy to drill down using `get_ticket_details`. Give it a ticket ID and you get everything—who submitted it, when, and what stage it's in.

Building Knowledge Base Content for Windsurf

The agent can grab all the published content by calling `list_kb_articles`. This gives your workflow a quick view of existing documentation. You'll know exactly what information users already have access to. Want to find user discussions? Use `list_forums` to map out active community conversations without having to manually check each section.

Managing User Accounts and Support Channels

`list_account_users` lets your agent fetch a roster of all accounts linked to the system. This is crucial for knowing who needs support or whose data you're working with. Beyond user lists, you can quickly create new issues using `create_support_ticket`. Just set the parameters and it files a ticket right away.

Setup guide

Set up UserEcho MCP in Windsurf

Prerequisites

  • Windsurf IDE installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP configuration

Click the Cascade assistant icon in the sidebar, then click the hammer icon (🔨) at the top of the panel. Select "Configure" to open ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.

  2. 2

    Add the UserEcho MCP

Paste the JSON snippet shown on the right into the mcpServers object. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Refresh MCPs

Go back to the hammer icon (🔨) in Cascade and click "Refresh". Windsurf will detect the new server. No full restart is needed — the connection is hot-reloaded.

  4. 4

    Verify in Cascade

Start a new Cascade conversation and ask something like "Show my UserEcho payment history." If connected, Cascade will call the UserEcho tools directly. You will see a green dot next to the server name in the MCP panel.
