Key Capabilities

List all available Tally forms.

The `list_forms` tool gives you a machine-readable inventory of every form in your Tally environment. You can filter this list using a workspace ID, which is critical for targeting specific project data sets. This mechanism lets your scripts know exactly what forms exist before they try to interact with them, preventing runtime errors in CI/CD jobs.

Batch delete old Tally records.

Use `delete_submission` when you need to scrub old or invalid data from your system. The tool requires a specific submission ID and confirmation of the Form ID, so you're always working with scoped parameters. This is perfect for cleanup scripts running nightly in a cron job, ensuring your Tally database remains lean and only holds active records.

Audit and get form details.

You call `get_form` to pull the full metadata package for any specific template. It's essential for checking if a form has been updated or if its fields have changed since your last deployment. For general setup checks, run `list_workspaces` first. This ensures that the form you are querying exists within an active workspace boundary.
