Key Capabilities

Manage Tally workflows via the MCP Server.

You can start by listing all available structures using `list_forms`. This immediately shows you every form created within a specific workspace, letting you audit which data sources are live. Need more detail? Call `get_form` with a specific ID to grab the full schema and metadata for any given Tally form.

Inspect individual submission records.

To check what users actually sent, use `list_submissions`. This function gives you an overview of all responses tied to a particular form. If you need the raw data for just one entry—say, from last Tuesday—you run `get_submission` and get that specific record's details.

Audit workspaces and account info.

Want to know where all this data lives? Run `list_workspaces` to map out every Tally workspace you have access to. It’s a quick way to see departmental silos, for instance. Plus, use `get_me` to pull your own Tally account details, confirming exactly which user context the agent is operating under.

Common questions about Tally MCP in Claude Desktop

Just use the `list_forms` tool. It shows you every form ID and name, letting you see what kind of data is being collected across your organization.
Yeah, absolutely. You pass the required IDs into `get_submission`. The agent pulls the full details for that single response right into the chat window so you can review it.
You use the `delete_submission` tool. Remember, this is irreversible, so double-check your target ID before running that one.
Yes, it does. You can run `list_workspaces` to see all available environments and then filter your searches using the workspace IDs when listing forms or submissions.
This server handles form metadata, submission records, and account details. It deals with structured user-provided input from Tally's forms.
