Key Capabilities
Map all existing Tally forms via the MCP Server.
Need to see what forms are out there? Use `list_forms` or `list_workspaces` to get a complete inventory of Tally setups. The agent figures out which workspaces belong to which form, giving you a quick map of your data landscape. Windsurf uses this information to plan the next steps, letting you see every available submission point without having to manually check each one.
Audit specific Tally submissions and forms.
The `get_form` tool lets your agent pull detailed metadata for any single Tally form. Want the raw data? Call `list_submissions` or `get_submission` to audit records based on time range or form ID. It's perfect for building an audit trail. Windsurf doesn't just read the data; it processes it, showing you which submissions are missing fields or violate stated rules.
Clean up old Tally records safely.
Sometimes you gotta delete stuff. The `delete_submission` tool lets your agent clean out outdated or erroneous data points from a Tally form. This keeps the live dataset accurate and manageable. Using this capability, you can set rules—for instance, 'if submission is over 90 days old, delete it'—and let Windsurf execute that sequence without needing multiple prompts.
