Key Capabilities
Audit submissions and forms programmatically.
The MCP Server gives you full read access to form definitions. You can use `get_form` to pull metadata for a specific Tally form, letting your agent check field requirements before submission. Need to see what came in? Use `list_submissions` and `get_submission` to audit records across date ranges. Your application gets the raw data instantly, skipping the UI entirely.
Manage Tally workspaces and forms.
Don't need a form ID? Use `list_workspaces` first. This tells your agent which environments are active in Tally. Once you know the workspace, use `list_forms` to filter down to only the necessary templates. This prevents your client from trying to access forms that don't even exist.
Handle data cleanup and auditing.
Mistake happened? Use the `delete_submission` tool to remove a specific Tally submission record by its ID. Your agent handles this deletion request directly through the MCP Server. This allows your workflow to enforce strict data governance without human intervention, critical for maintaining clean datasets.
