Compatible with every major AI agent and IDE
Create record on Knack
You must provide the data as a JSON string where keys are the field keys (e.g., field_1). Ensure you have checked the object schema first to know which fields are required. Create a new record in a Knack object
Delete record on Knack
Use with caution as this action cannot be undone. Delete a record from a Knack object
Get object schema on Knack
Returns metadata including the object name, key, and high-level structure. Use this to verify you are working with the correct database table. Get the schema of a specific Knack object
Get record on Knack
Requires both the object_key and the record_id. Use this for detailed auditing of a specific entry. Get a specific record by ID
List account applications on Knack
Use this to verify access or discover application IDs. List all applications in the account
List object fields on Knack
This is crucial for understanding the data types and identifying the field keys (field_1, field_2, etc.) needed for creating or updating records. List all fields for a specific Knack object
List objects on Knack
This is the first step to understand the database structure and find the "Object Key" needed for record operations. List all objects in the Knack application
List records on Knack
You must provide the object_key. Use this to browse the actual data stored in your database. List records for a specific Knack object
Search records on Knack
The filters must be provided as a JSON string following the Knack Filter format (e.g., "[{\"field\":\"field_1\", \"operator\":\"is\", \"value\":\"test\"}]"). Search for records using filters
Update record on Knack
Provide only the fields you wish to change in the JSON string data. This is a partial update. Update an existing record in a Knack object
How Vinkius protects your data
Is there a risk of the AI "going crazy" and deleting important company data?
No. With Vinkius, the AI operates on "rails". It can only make the exact moves you authorized in the tool's settings. It cannot invent routes, access other networks in your company, or decide to delete random files. If the action isn't in the approved catalog, the attempt is blocked instantly.
What happens if the underlying API rate limits my agent?
Our edge infrastructure automatically handles backoffs, queueing, and throttling. If an AI agent sends too many erratic requests, Vinkius manages the rate limits gracefully, ensuring your backend doesn't crash.
How do I find the Object Key for a specific table?
Use the list_objects tool. It will return all data objects in your application along with their names and unique keys (e.g., object_1). Use these keys for all subsequent record operations.
Does the AI train on my tools or API data?
No. Vinkius enforces a strict Zero-Retention policy. Your data simply passes through our secure servers to complete the requested action and is instantly forgotten. Nothing you do here is ever stored, logged, or used to train any artificial intelligence.
What can AI Agents do with Knack?
Build automated workflows with Cursor and Claude Code by connecting to the Knack MCP server.
Cursor Copilot for no code
Integrate Knack for AI-driven no code management. The MCP server structures the outputs required for Claude to analyze developer tools data.
LLM Orchestration for database management
Connect Knack to your AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to manage database management operations. The MCP server processes the underlying API requests and schema formatting for the developer tools domain.
